The device is used for non-visual control of liquid level while pouring. It can be used in the living conditions by the blind. A user can by ear define the moment when liquid reaches a certain level in a vessel. The device is supplied with a 12-volt battery, an electronic scheme and a mini loud-speaker. The device is fastened to the edge of a vessel which is to be filled by two external probes. The device is to be hanged onto the edge of a vessel so that its body remains outside while the probes are in direct contact with the contents and the inside surface of the vessel. When a vessel is being filled the liquid level rises until 1.5-2 cm to the edge are left. When the mark is reached, the device generates a sound signal (pronounces a phrase) indicating that the liquid reached a critical level and that the pouring must be stopped. When the probes are taken out of the vessel, the device automatically switches to the standby mode. The device does not have to be switched on and off and is always ready to be used.
